The George Green Library project at Nottingham University is a large scale building with a huge quantity of damaged concrete. As a new method for cutting out the damaged concrete we are using hydroblasting for the first time. Hydroblasting is a quieter, quicker method of cutting out the concrete and also has the benefit of using less vibration. Interestingly, hydroblasting works not by sheer force of water but by actually trapping air and causing the concrete to explode. Resin Fix is always looking at new as well as traditional methods to ensure we pass on the most benefit to our client.
